It’s National Boss Day, and we feel like it’s safe to say… the KPG Healthcare family has the best bosses out there! We wanted to take some time to tell you both just how much we appreciate everything you do. The KPG team has voted, and it’s official we’re lucky to be able to call Kris and Joe our fearless leaders!
Mayra: I love how comfortable they make you feel even though they are the big scary CEO’s . I really appreciate the friendliness that they provide and lead by example. I love them
Pablo: Joe and Kris have always been extremely supportive in all aspects and I really appreciate their “open door” policy when needing to talk about day to day business operations, challenges, strategies, etc. Happy National Boss’s Day!
Matt: Kris and Joe always say Hi in the morning, they ask what you’re up to outside of work and what’s going on this weekend etc. Always relatable on a person – to – person level. Their door is open for anything. They are far from disconnected. Good dudes all around!

Mike: I love working for two Rock Stars. They lead us down ‘Thunder Road’ and thru the ‘Badlands’… ‘Racing in the Street’ to the ‘Land of Hope and Dreams’. Whether we’re ‘Dancing in the Dark’ or on a ‘Long Walk Home’ – Joe & Kris remind of us of our ‘Hungry Heart’, our ‘Human Touch’, and that we’re ‘Tougher Than the Rest’.
Wealthy: I love working for Joe because he is so clean and organized. And I love working for Kris because he always wants to know what’s going on for the upcoming weekend! =)
Natasha: Always upbeat attitude. Always encouraging and interested in what EVERYONE has going on… just great people/energy overall love them!
Leti: One thing I love about working for Kris and Joe is that they go above and beyond to create an atmosphere where everyone feels safe to ask for help and make work fun! I really do feel lucky to work for great people like Kris and Joe!
Kristi Parrales: I love the fist pumps from Kris every morning and the warm smile from Joe when he comes to our cubicles to check in. Joe is really great at team meetings. I’m always excited to hear what news he has to share.
Hanna: They are open and available to help everyone! Their door is literally always open and they have an approachable vibe where they aren’t an “intimidating boss”. I appreciate that!
Kristi Palombo: They always put the team first!
Jan: I love the youth and humor they bring to the office. I love that the drive and determination at a young age is a good story to tell my boys.
Sean: They are always in a good mood and are approachable in the office. Plus they always take time to talk to us and crack jokes!
Becca: They create a positive work environment that promotes communication, recognition, success and a good work life balance.
Bern: Their approachability, positive energy, upbeat attitudes and passion for employees to succeed makes them amazing bosses!
Tiko: I love the fact that Kris and Joe are very approachable and always have their office open/have time to give some great advice or even chat regarding just about anything.
Patrick: The best part about working with Kris and Joe is the great workplace environment they have created. They have done an awesome job keeping the office fun and motivated. Also, the snacks are pretty sweet too!
Gladis: I like working with Joe & Kris because of their upbeat, positive & fun personalities. It sets the atmosphere for the entire company and at least for me makes coming to work a little less work. They encourage hard work without forgetting to make it fun & enjoyable to be here.
Zach – Both Joe and Kris have done an excellent jump creating a phenomenal work culture. I’ve always appreciated how they’ve included everyone within the company their vision, motivating everyone to work as hard as possible to be successful.
Cassie: I love working with Kris and Joe because they make it comfortable. We still have fun in a relaxed environment, while still working our bootys off.
Veronica: They have an open door policy – come in with concerns, requests, jokes, the latest sports news, etc.! They are genuine all around guys!
Mark: The main reason I love Joe and Kris is as follows: when we were all at the beach a few months ago and my dad went too far out (he cannot swim) he was in danger of drowning. Not even the lifeguards were willing to swim out to his rescue since there were several sharks surrounding him and I was sure that this was the end for my aquatically challenged father. Just as I was about to call the Los Angeles court house to put myself up for adoption, I noticed my two bosses Joe and Kris already halfway to his location. The speed they were swimming at was uncanny, it was if they had found a way to use their arms as clean energy/ non-smog inducing motors. After what felt like hours, they emerged on to the shoreline, Joe carrying my dad and Kris clearing the crowd of bystanders who weren’t righteous enough to accomplish what they just had. I’ll never forget the look in Joe’s eyes when he was checking my dad’s pulse. Focused and without fear. And I’ll never forget the emotion in Kris’ voice as he pounded his fists on my dad’s chest screaming, “Not today you bastard… you aren’t dying today… not while Joe and I are here!”/ I almost collapsed in relief when my dad finally took a deep revived breath. He was saved. I was helpless that day- But Joe and Kris were there to show the courage I couldn’t. I offered to buy them ice cream but by the time I returned with it, they were already riding jet skis into the coastline sunset (The jet skis had really cool custom paintjobs that looked like fire). They are great bosses to work for.
Lisa: I would say one thing I enjoy about Joe and Kris as a boss is the incredible generosity they show all of us. Before my first day Joe invited me to a Kings game because he had a suite and the whole crew was going and he wanted me to feel like part of the family. I found that to be special considering I hadn’t even started yet. Whether it’s a raffle to win Dodger tickets or a room for us to not drive home after an awesome Christmas party or Joe’s delicious salsa we always feel taken care of. Thanks Kris and Joe!!! Happy bosses appreciation day.
Chris: I love that when I have questions, concerns, or life interactions I can go to them and know they’ll give me realistic conversations/interactions they have had to help make me a better recruiter/person.
Meghan: The only way to do great at work is to have great people to work with. Kris and Joe have created a work environment that together we achieve more. There is teamwork, respect, motivation, honesty, laughter, friendship and more. Kris and Joe make a point to be involved everyday with everyone and that speaks volumes, whether it is a high five, fist bump or a smile.
Ruthie: I Love working with Joe and Kris because they’re young and hip which makes them fun and down to earth. I Love how understanding they can be with everyone and how for holiday weekends they allow us to leave early the Friday before, which shows me they really care about us and value our time with our family. They’re considerate
Kimmy: I really enjoy the atmosphere here at KPG, we are like a family that has their ups and downs but always finds a way to get ahead. Joe and Kris have a busy schedule but always have time to pick up their head to say hi or go around to see how everyone’s weekend was.
